Remember Bob Young…

An offensive guard for the Big Red from 1972-1972, Bob Young also lent his services to the Denver Broncos, the Houston Oilers (twice) and the New Orleans Saints. A stallwart on the line that included Conrad Dobler, Dan Dierdorf , Tom Banks and Roger Finnie, Young was also a powerlifter who once finished second in the World’s Strongest Man contest (1977) and was the older brother of three time world powerlifting champion Doug Young. Bob Young died of a heart attack at age 52 in June of 1995…..
