Vada Pinson

As a member of the Cincinnati Red’s, outfielder Vada Pinson impressed the Cardinals enough over the years to prompt the Redbirds to trade for him in the spring of 1969.   He played one year, hit 10 homers with 70 RBI’s before being traded to the Cleveland Indians and finishing out his career in the American League. He retired at the end of the 1975 season.
